About the Photos: This page honors the young men who made the ultimate sacrifice during my deployment to Southern Afghanistan (Sept 2010–Sept 2011). The original photos were low-quality and didn't reflect the vibrant Marines and Sailors I remember. Using AI, I restored them to show their bright, youthful appearance.
